Kingsfield Primary School

Today , our community involvement programme took us to Kingsfield Primary School in Chatteris—and what a brilliant visit it was.

The pupils were full of energy and enthusiasm, turning the session into a real conversation about caring for pets. We wrapped things up with a fantastic Q&A session where the children had the chance to quiz our staff, showing off their confidence and curiosity as they talked about:

• What animals need to feel safe, settled, and happy

• How to approach, greet, and handle pets gently and respectfully

• Why daily care and regular check-ups are so important

• The long-term commitment and responsibility of owning a pet

We were so impressed by their engagement that we’ve already started planning more in-depth workshops for later in the year for those particularly passionate students!

A huge thank you to Kingsfield Primary School for welcoming us in today. We left feeling so proud of the children’s kindness—and even more reminded of how important community connections are.
